Redbridge Group Director Simon Welsh says the support for teal independents through Northern suburbs and Northern Beaches areas of NSW is “really on fire”.
“The support there for that vote shifting off the Liberal party to those independents is like nowhere else. We’re seeing a little bit of it here in Victoria … but in NSW it’s a different story,” Mr Welsh told Sky News Australia.
“We’re seeing it quantitively and qualitatively at the moment.”
Mr Welsh has described the shifting support as “like watching tectonic plates moving”.
